eNPS

Quick definition

eNPS, or employee Net Promoter Score, is a simple metric that measures how likely employees are to recommend their company as a place to work.

eNPS comes from one question: how likely are you to recommend us as a place to work, scored from zero to ten. Respondents are grouped into promoters, passives, and detractors, and the score is the share of promoters minus the share of detractors.

Its strength is simplicity. It is quick to run often, easy to track over time, and gives a single number leaders can rally around. It works best paired with a follow-up question that explains the why behind the score.
